Lambo revealed its third new poser this year at an exclusive event rather than to the sweaty heathen masses across town on the LA motor show floor; a poser which partners the Superleggera coupe unveiled earlier this year.
Lambo shaved 65kg from the standard Gallardo Spyder by using aluminium panels along with C fibre covers rear spoiler underbody panelling diffuser and sills to get a 1485kg kerb weight. It's Superleggera car bro weighs in at 1340kg.Thankfully you don't acquire a slim-fast engine. The Performante comes with the five70bhp five. 0-62mph is just incomplete a second shy of the coupe - 3.9s - and 1mph slower top-flight out at 201mph.
Apparently Lambo reckons every spin in the Spyder is a journey 'into the eye of the assault.
